So very disappointed. I miss the 90’s.

But what about the annoying and talentless kid actors of the 90s that are in every film, do you really miss it that much?
(I haven’t actually seen Jurassic World, I’m just making fun of a 90s trope)

Kids really want to see it, gonna have to suffer through it. Wish they were old enough to see Mad Max, would see that like a thousand more times.

I saw it the other day. Not half bad, but I didn't really watch the Jurassic Park movies as a kid, so yeah.

Every time you see a G Wagon you have to yell Geländewagen!! in your loudest angriest German voice.

Wat? It wasn’t any more cheesy than the old movies and I was pleasantly surprised.
The Mercedes ad part was a little much though.

There are also annoying kids in this one. Except now instead of a Ford Explorer, they ride around in a giant hamster ball.

I don’t think the pair in this are any better. Maybe a little less annoying.
Still like the original kids in Jurassic Park way better.

You won’t suffer through it. There’s enough cgi and action, if you like that sort of thing.
Nothing like the original.

I thought the original was far less cheesy. Well as you’re going to get, being a movie about dinosaurs and all.
The first contained so much more substance, where this is just drooling action.

OK - so the first time I understand - every time I see a bug in amber I think: dinosaurs. The second time is kinda understandable - they had to clean up their mess. But a third, and now a fourth time? Don’t these knuckleheads understand? It’s always going to end badly.

I really liked it, personally, and I count the original amongst my favourite films ever made. It wasn’t as good as the first, but I still enjoyed it enough that I’m now willing to say there are two good Jurassic Park films in the world.

I liked the movie and the Mercs.

Just having Jeff Goldblum is enough to make the old one better. I guess I will wait and download this in 1080. Mad Max was awesome, I have waited years of reshooting and looking at vehicle building pics!

It’s just an absurd plot. They could of went in so many more conceivable directions.

My favorite vehicle was the original work Silverado that got destroyed early on.

I’ve given up on some things that got silly (True Blood) and will probably give up on this series. Have not seen the third one. If the new one was showing on an airplane, maybe.
There is an automotive connection that you probably know about: Jeff Goldblum was given a Mercedes M Class after the second movie, and he still drives it. Top Gear.

I mean...to each his own I guess.
I did notice that every single thing on the island got destroyed except for things with a silver star on the front.

I liked a few of the Mercs. The real highlight was the old Jeep, though. The Triumph Scrambler was good, too, as was Chris Pratt’s gratuitous glass coke scene.
